Maya Nadine was born in Ottawa to parents of German and Chinese-Jamaican heritage. Maya started performing at a young age in community musical theatre productions. She studied at the Canadian College of Performing Arts and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia. After a can-can dancing contract in Dawson City, Yukon, she became a whitewater raft guide in New Zealand and continues her outdoor guiding work in British Columbia and up North. She practices and teaches hatha yoga in her spare time and primarily resides in Vancouver, BC. Hide
