EPISODE
SEASON
This comedy series revolves around the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The series depicts the diary with which Edmund Blakadeer Esquire lives with the personal servant of Prince Regent, Prince of Wales. Despite Edmund's intelligence and abilities, he has no personal wealth in spite of all that.

The volleys of vocabulary are astounding, as is the willingness to mine sheer silliness for comic gold.November 07, 2018
The third iteration of Edmund Blackadder was blessed in a way the others weren't--the only incarnation to make it out of a series alive, he would often display the ability to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.November 08, 2018
Season three's reduced core of just Mr. Blackadder, S. Baldrick, and the Prince Regent lends its episodes greater focus.November 07, 2018
Black Adder the Third goes up another peg in terms of silliness and wit, even as the show's budget and cast shrink, which helps.November 28, 2018
"Ink and Incapability"...is possibly the funniest [episode]. It features a suitably bombastic performance from Robbie Coltrane as Dr Johnson, and some of the show's best lines.November 05, 2018
For me, the third season is a little weaker, missing the chemistry between Rowan Atkinson and Tim McInnerny.
