As Bastian has grown up and go to high school, his father marries another woman, whose daughter named Nicole. Nicole is not satisfied with the new family and start to bully Bastian. Bastian has to run away from them and escape to Fantasia, the imaginary world in a book. Nicole inadvertently discovers the book and use it to bombard Fantasia and Bastian's friend.

Okay, I agree since the first one had only half the book a sequel was acceptable, but this wasn't.
