Huertas was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Jayuya, PR to Jose M. Huertas, a social worker, and Isabel Gonzalez, who worked at a Pharmaceutical Factory. His parents were both originally from Jayuya, Puerto Rico. After finishing his freshman year in High School, he moved to the U.S. to pursue his passion for acting.Erick Huertas now resides in New York City where he's found a passion to travel , plays basketball and bikes for relaxation.
